About:
The Search for Saturnalia were from Austin, TX. Members David, Chris, Jeff, Mark and Tina played all over the place for almost 4 years. The first show was February 23, 1998 at the Triple Crown in San Marcos, TX.The last show was March 14, 2001 at the Ritz Lounge in Austin, TX.
The band has 3 releases under their belts:
The first of the 3 was a self released CDEP. Next, Search released a
split 7" with El Paso's Egon. Lastly,
Search released Four Letters - their full length CD.
While mostly playing Austin and other Texas cities during their time, Search went on one small tour in 2000 that took them through the midwest and the eastern part of the US.
Cities played: Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, El Paso, Denton, Houston, Baton Rouge, Oklahoma City, Chicago, Boston, New York, some little town in Pennsylvania, Wilmington, Memphis, some other little town in Arkansas.
Chris went on to play in We Talked About Murder, Our Own Somewhere, and most recently, Beta Valentine. Tina is currently concentrating on her crafting and various other projects - check it out at Sparklecraft.com. David moved to Brooklyn and went to grad school. He still lives there. Jeff works a lot and likes to play in the water. Mark works at the record store in San Marcos.
